Creating a plan that works for you

The kitchen can often be a stressful space for the household chef(s) if the kitchen lacks order and cooking utensils don’t have their own place.  Sometimes there are simple fixes that can be done to help the general flow of the kitchen.  Whether it be a pantry purge, utensils edit, fridge- scaping.  Theres a term we use in the kitchen ‘mis en place’ meaning ‘everything in its place’. (This is the only tattoo I would consider getting.) Mis En Place is a way of life…. And that can be labelling containers and spices, or unpacking and putting snacks into clear bins for ease on the eye and efficiency in what to add to grocery list.  When you have a place for everything you don’t have to think twice because there is no searching for what you need.  I love the forgotten about corners of a refrigerator and the unreachable places in a pantry…

Oftentimes one just feels stuck in a rut in the kitchen and I am ever keen to come with my magic wand and get to work.
